If you look closer, the Mudmaster GG-1000 series is a smaller version of the Mudmaster GWG-1000 series – one of the best G-Shock in Master-G line up ; however with less features and price tag . Many watch manufacturers are producing smaller, reduced versions of their most popular models. This time, G-Shock decided to do this with their G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-1000 by creating this model. As you can see, the bezel has a similar design as the GWG-1000, but the GG-1000 doesn’t have a big front-facing back-light button, and the GG-1000 has a mineral glass display, while the GWG is saphire display.
The case for GG-1000 measures approximately 56.2 × 55.3 × 17.1 mm , and it weighs in at approximately 92g. So they are slightly larger than Rangeman series (55.2mm x 53.5mm x 18.2mm), but smaller than GWG-1000 (59.5mm x 56.1mm x 18.0mm) by quite a bit.

A countdown timer is another feature you may require at certain times, with a countdown range of 60 minutes.
Every watch needs an alarm, especially if you find it difficult to get out of bed, or you’re going on longer trips away. Five daily alarms and a single snooze alarm ensure that you get up when you should and stick to your original travel plans if you are exploring somewhere new.
This watch has a range of useful feature that comes in handy while you are away from home or during your everyday life. These include a full auto calendar, the choice of a 12 or 24-hour format and auto LED back-light with afterglow.
Bear in mind, unlike his brother the GWG-1000 series, the GG-1000 is a battery-powered watch ( not Tough Solar ). Each GG-1000 requires SR927W batteries and these batteries last for approximately two years.
